Reports & Compliance Export
Report export requires the Growth plan or above. The Vanta bulk-upload export requires Business. Both are included in the 14-day trial.
Reports turn your live AI inventory into a document you can hand to an auditor: which AI agents ran on which machines, what they connected to, and what your policies did about it.
Exporting a report
- Navigate to Reports in the sidebar
- Choose the reporting period in days (for example 90)
- Choose a template and a format
- Export — the file downloads directly
| Template | Focus |
|---|---|
| Generic | Plain inventory and activity report, no framework framing |
| SOC 2 | Laid out around the controls an auditor asks about for AI tooling |
| EU AI Act | Laid out around the transparency and oversight questions of the EU AI Act |
| Format | Use |
|---|---|
| CSV | Feed the raw rows into your own tooling or spreadsheet |
| Hand over as-is |
Vanta bulk upload
If you run Vanta, the Vanta bulk upload export produces an XLSX file in Vanta's Custom Inventory Bulk Upload format, with your AI agents as inventory items. Upload it in Vanta without reshaping the columns.
The owner recorded for each item defaults to your organization's default owner email, which you set under Settings. Per-agent compliance tags set in the agent detail view are carried into the export.
Trial exports are watermarked
Exports produced by a trial tenant are deliberately marked as unusable for audit:
- PDF carries a repeated diagonal "SIELUM TRIAL — NOT FOR AUDIT" stamp across every page
- Vanta XLSX contains fixed sample rows instead of your real inventory, each marked as a trial sample
This keeps a trial from accidentally producing something that looks like audit evidence. Exports on a paid plan carry no watermark and contain your real data.
What ends up in a report
Reports draw on the same data the dashboard shows: endpoints and their agents, detected AI clients, MCP servers, API connections, policy alerts and their resolution state, over the period you selected. Data older than your retention window is gone by design, see Privacy & Data Retention — pick an export period your retention setting can actually cover.
