2. Hosting
This website is hosted on servers operated by Hetzner Cloud GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in data centres located in Falkenstein and Nuremberg (Germany). All personal data is processed exclusively within the EU/EEA. No data transfers to third countries occur. Sielum is not subject to the US CLOUD Act.
3. Data We Collect
Server logs: When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits technical data to our server: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, HTTP status code, data volume transferred, browser and operating system information. This data is used solely to ensure operation and to defend against attacks, and is deleted after 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in IT security and operation).
Contact form / email inquiries: When you contact us, we process your name, email address, and message content to handle your inquiry. This data is deleted after the communication is complete, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Cookies: This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for operation (e.g. session cookies). These are deleted at the end of the browser session. No tracking cookies or third-party cookies are used.
4. Trial Registration
When you register for a free trial of Sielum, we collect the following data:
- Email address
- Name
- Company name (optional)
This data is processed for the purpose of contract initiation and account provisioning. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If no contract is concluded, this data is deleted after the trial period plus a 30-day grace period.
5. Disclosure of Data
We do not share personal data with third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of a contract, we are legally obliged to do so, or you have given your explicit consent. Our data processors are contractually obligated to comply with the GDPR. The sub-processors we engage are listed at sielum.io/legal/sub-processors.
